Ref: CHATS 01/10
Age Concern Liverpool Services Ltd is the trading arm of registered charity Age Concern Liverpool. Together with PSS we are working with Liverpool PCT to deliver the Liverpool’s NHS Personal Health Trainers and CHATs (Community Health Ambassador Team) a Government initiative to reduce health inequalities.
Join us in this role and you’ll help us to serve some of the area’s most deprived communities by tackling health inequalities.
We’ll rely on you to promote, organise and deliver the local CHAT health promotion and other health improvement activities in the Liverpool South Neighbourhood Management area. As well as providing programme activities that will help people to make healthier lifestyle choices, you’ll also be lending your support to existing exercise, healthy eating and social isolation groups too, assisting them in producing really positive outcomes for their members.

We are also looking for evidence of your ability to plan and organise events and group activities, and to motivate and inspire people. The ability to walk a distance of three miles on gentle/normal terrain is another essential requirement.
